Pronouncing Consonants
For the most part, consonants in Italian are pronounced the same as they are in English, However, similar to the English language, there are some consonants in Italian that can be pronounced In more ways than one The consonants c and g can be pronounced as either hand of soft. Their pronunciation depends on the vowels that follow them.
Lets first look at the consonant c
Rule :The consonant c is pronounced hard (k sound) when followed by the vowels a, o, or u
