Our lives are rich with thoughts, emotions, and experiences. For those who immigrated to America, it was a life left behind and a new life born. Adolfo Caso came to America from Italy when he was just 11 years old. His world is viewed through the eyes ofa child in transition, a young non bravely serving his new country, and an adult dedicated to education and the arts.

In this work, Caso successfidly captures these moments through poetry and photography. He takes us on a journey of love, pain, sound, religion, and political observation. Instead of simply providing a window, Adolfo offers a door - inviting us into his world where we can almost experience it first-hand.
